2024 Wilyabrup Valley Rosé

We’ve been working away at rosé for a few years now, trying the varieties Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Malbec and Shiraz. But it is Cabernet Franc that we feel makes the rosé that is “us".

2024 Wilyabrup Valley Rosé is made with 100% Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Franc, with only 2880 bottles produced.

And not just any old Cabernet Franc - in 2024 we have sourced this fruit from the same plot that produces our Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Franc Merlot. The fruit was harvested, hand sorted berry by berry on our sorting table, then pressed and fermented in tank for freshness. A touch of wild barrel fermented lees was also used to contribute mouthfeel and palate weight.

The colour is bright salmon. Aromas are delicate - watermelon, strawberry, pink lady apples and grapefruit feature. The refreshing crispiness and savoury notes are well integrated on the palate, the fresh fruits of the nose mirrored on the palate.

Our Wilyabrup Valley Rosé will be the perfect companion for a variety of occasions, and available for summer!
